FAQ
-
Why should I see a Physical Therapist at Continuum?
We only schedule private, 1:1 sessions which is rare to find! Also, our pilates based physical therapy and dry needling services are almost non-existent in the greater Chicago area.
-
Will insurance cover services here? What are my payment options?
At this time we do not accept insurance.
We accept payment in the form of cash, check, HSA cards, and most major credit cards.
-
What should I wear/bring to my PT or Pilates session?
Loose fitting athletic clothing is best for all sessions. We will need to access and treat your injury site which may require movement or adjustment of your clothing (ie - ability to roll your pants up to treat your knee or ankle).
Also, please bring water or sports drink if you think you will need it.
-
What should I expect at my initial PT or Pilates session?
Your first session will always be an Initial Evaluation. We need to assess what limitations currently exist in order to create the most effective treatment or training plan.
-
Do I need a physician referral for PT or Dry Needling services?
On August 16, 2018, Governor Rauner signed new direct access legislation into law. This law, effective immediately, provides for patients to be evaluated and treated without a referral or script from a physician.
This means you DO NOT need a physician referral or prescription in order to receive services directly from Continuum.

How much is it to be treated at Continuum?
In order to provide the most consistent, comprehensive and customized treatment options for our patients, all services are billed at $150/hr.
